GIF OLED Converter

Convert GIF to C array for SSD1306 (128x64).

Requirements

  • Python 3.10+ (Pillow)
  • arduino-cli (esp32:esp32:esp32s3)

Installation

Libraries

arduino-cli lib install "Adafruit SSD1306" "Adafruit GFX Library" "Adafruit BusIO"

Python Environment

python3 -m venv venv
source venv/bin/activate
pip install Pillow

Usage

Build Header

./gif2c.py --help
./gif2c.py <input.gif> [output.h] [--inv] [--ctr FLOAT] [--dtr {floyd,atkinson}]

Example (Atkinson):

./gif2c.py input.gif --dtr atkinson --ctr 1.2
